Rename or forget a saved device

MyChron loggers you've connected are remembered under Your devices on the Import tab, so reconnecting is one tap.

Rename a device

1. Open the Import tab and find the device under Your devices.
2. Tap the pencil icon (Rename) on its card.
3. In Name this device, give it a name you'll recognise in the paddock — "My Kart", "The 125", whatever works — and tap Save.

Forget a device

1. Find the device under Your devices.
2. Swipe its card to the left.
3. Confirm with Forget.

Forgetting removes the device from the list — your downloaded sessions are kept. If you connect the same logger again later, it simply reappears as a new entry.

Tip

If you run more than one machine, the same Name this device dialog lets you pick a Default vehicle for this device (once your Garage has vehicles), so downloads file themselves automatically — see Assign sessions to a vehicle.
