Conditions now and last time here

Standing in the paddock deciding on jetting or gearing? The Garage tab opens with the conditions where you are right now, how they compare with your last visit, and the past heat whose air was most like today's.

Conditions now

1. Open the Garage tab. The card at the top is titled Conditions plus the track's name, or Here if the place isn't known. A compact copy sits at the top of each vehicle's Setup tab.
2. The first time, tap Show conditions for the track you're at and allow location. You need to be signed in.

The card shows air density (relative air density, or density altitude if you use mph) with Air, Humidity, Wind, and Station pressure. On a phone with a barometer, its reading is used and marked measured. With Pro, a line compares today's air with your most recent session within about 3 km.

The full briefing

Tap the card or Open › for the Conditions page:

• Outlook — the coming hours' temperature, chance of rain, and wind.
• Density altitude, SAE correction factor, Sea-level pressure, and Carburettor icing risk: High, Moderate, or Low.
• Last time here (Pro) — the date, air density and temperature, track and grip tags, and best lap from your last session at this place. Tap it to open that session.

Closest past conditions (Pro)

On a vehicle's Setup tab, Closest past conditions finds the past heat on that vehicle whose air density was nearest to right now, preferring heats at this circuit. It shows the difference (today vs then) and the engine settings that heat ran — plus drivetrain, chassis, axle, and geometry when it's the same circuit, or the venue's name when it isn't. Tap it to open the heat.

It works from your own history, not a jetting chart: it needs past heats with sessions assigned (see Race-day heats and baselines) whose weather was fetched. When nothing is comparable — for example, when today's position has no altitude — the card doesn't appear.

Good to know

• Location services off, or access denied? The card says so and offers Open settings. In a browser, allow location in the address bar and tap Retry.
• Weather comes from OpenWeather and is credited on the card.
