Race-day heats and baselines

Last updated Sep 25, 2026

A heat is the setup for one run — P1, Qualifying, the Final. Each heat keeps its own values, so changing the jet for the Final never rewrites what you ran in qualifying.

Start a heat

  1. Open the Garage tab, tap the vehicle, and stay on Setup → Heats.
  2. Tap New heat and choose From a baseline, Clone last heat (the latest heat on this vehicle, even yesterday's), or Start blank.
  3. Type a name or tap P1, P2, Qualifying, Heat 1, Heat 2, or Final, then tap New heat.

Shortcut: tap a baseline in the strip above today's list to start a heat from it.

The heat editor

  • Conditions: Track and Grip chips, plus air and track temperature (°C), humidity (%), and station pressure (hPa). You type these — they're never fetched, and cloning leaves them empty.
  • Setup fields: anything that differs from the heat's source is highlighted, numbers show a signed change such as +2, and a cleared value says Removed.
  • Sessions on this heat: tap one to open it.
  • Save, Clone to next heat (saves, asks for a name, and opens the new heat on the same day), Save as baseline, and Delete heat. Deleting removes the heat from the day list, sessions assigned to it still show it, and there's no undo.

Leave with unsaved changes and the app asks: Keep editing or Discard.

Today's list

Today's heats show oldest first, with their first change, conditions, and session count. A green tick marks the newest — what's on the machine now. After midnight they move to History.

Link a session to its heat

  1. Open the session and go to its Setup tab.
  2. Under Assign this session to a heat, tap a heat — that day's come first, then other days with their date — or tap New heat to create one dated to the session's day.

The assigned heat then opens right inside the session. Edits there change the heat for every session on it, Clone to next heat moves this session to the new heat, and Unassign heat clears the link. Moving the session to another vehicle clears it too.

Good to know

  • Today's heats, baselines, and assigning sessions are Free. Past heats are Pro — see Setup history: see what changed between runs (Pro).
  • Team karts work the same way — see Team setup sheets and race-day heats.
