Finding your way around the Team app
Last updated 29 days ago
A Team account's app looks different from a Driver's on purpose — there's less to it, because a Team account doesn't record anything itself.
The four tabs
- Drivers — your roster, claimed and unclaimed. Search by name or number, filter by class, and tap Archived to see drivers who've left. Tap a driver to open their profile.
- Garage — the team's vehicles, each labelled with its driver and readiness.
- Sessions — where new sessions come in. Owners and coaches can tap Add sessions to download from a MyChron or RaceBox, or import a file, then tag each one to a driver. Mechanics can view permitted sessions but do not get the Add sessions or delete controls. Untagged sessions wait under Waiting for a driver; once a session has a driver, you'll find it on that driver's profile.
- Settings — what this shows depends on your role (see below).
That's the whole bottom nav. There's no Record tab, no Import tab, and no personal Library — a Team account never records sessions of its own, so those tabs simply don't exist for it.
The Settings tab: Owner vs. Coach or Mechanic
- Owner — the Settings tab is Team settings: the team's name and logo, then Staff, Racing Category, Units of Measure, Subscription, Data & Privacy, and the Danger Zone (archiving or deleting the team). Your own account settings open from your avatar at the top right.
- Coach or mechanic — the Settings tab is your own personal settings, plus a Team row leading to the team's Data & Privacy and the option to leave.
