Archiving and restoring a Team vehicle
Last updated 20 days ago
Retiring a driver's vehicle in Team Garage doesn't erase it — Archive is the only way to retire one, and it's fully reversible.
To archive a vehicle
- Open the driver's profile and select their active vehicle.
- Tap Archive and type a short reason (under 500 characters) — this is required, so anyone reading the history later knows why it was retired.
- Confirm. The vehicle moves to Archived vehicles on that driver's profile.
Archiving is also how you free up room for a new vehicle: since each driver can only have one active vehicle at a time, you'll need to archive the current one before adding its replacement.
Restoring a vehicle
Open Archived vehicles, find the one you need, and restore it. If the driver already has an active vehicle, archive that one first — the one-active-vehicle rule always applies.
What sticks around
An archived vehicle keeps its full history — readiness, service reports, and photos, all of it — visible under Archived vehicles to both staff and the driver themselves. Nothing about a vehicle or its service reports can be permanently deleted; archive is the only lifecycle action Team Garage has.
