Set up a driver's vehicle in Team Garage

Every driver on your team gets one vehicle in Team Garage — added from their profile, not from the fleet list. It's there for identity, readiness, setup, and service history, so give it enough detail to be useful before the season gets busy.

Steps

1. Open the driver's profile from Drivers and go to its Garage tab.
2. Tap Add Team vehicle. (If the driver already has an active vehicle, archive it first — see Archiving and restoring a Team vehicle.)
3. Enter a Name — the only required field. If your Team has a racing category (Kart, Car, or Motorcycle), the vehicle takes that type automatically and the form doesn't ask for it. On a Team set to Other, pick a Type.
4. Fill in whatever else you know: make, model, year, chassis number, engine make/model/serial number, a photo, and notes. All optional — anything you skip just doesn't show on the vehicle screen.
5. Tap Save. The vehicle becomes that driver's one active vehicle and appears in the Team's Garage tab.

Who can do this

• Adding a vehicle is owner and coach only.
• Editing an existing vehicle — its details, photo, readiness, archiving and restoring — is open to the owner, coaches, and mechanics. If the owner limits mechanics to their assigned drivers, a mechanic can only edit those drivers' vehicles.

Every vehicle change goes straight to the server — there's no offline editing, so you need a connection to save.
