Assign sessions to a vehicle

Every session in your personal library can belong to one of your Garage vehicles. Assignment is designed to be mostly automatic — and never silent. If you're a driver linked to a coaching Team, sessions tagged to that team may not show the vehicle chip until your account is fully connected — that's expected, and doesn't affect your own vehicles.

Automatic assignment

• Device defaults: give a logger a default vehicle, and every session downloaded from it files itself. If your MyChron lives on one kart, set it once and forget it.
• File hints: AiM session files often carry a vehicle name from the logger's own setup; the app uses it as a signal when suggesting an assignment.

Manual assignment

1. Open the session's Overview tab.
2. Tap the vehicle chip (it reads Assign vehicle when empty).
3. Pick the machine from your Garage.

What assignment gives you

• Filter your library by vehicle with the chip row in Sessions.
• Per-machine truth: personal bests, track history, and coaching compare like with like. A PB set in the shifter no longer hides your progress in the 100cc.

Tip

Thirty seconds assigning sessions at the end of a race day keeps a whole season's history clean.
