Team setup sheets and race-day heats

Last updated 29 days ago

Every Team vehicle has its own setup sheet, so whoever works on a driver's kart can record what's on it for each run of a race day — and look back at what worked. It works like a personal vehicle's heats and baselines (see Keep a setup sheet for your vehicle and Race-day heats and baselines); this article covers the Team side.

Where it lives

Open the Team's Garage tab and tap a vehicle. Its page has five tabs: Setup, Tires, History, Service, and Details.

  • Setup shows today's heats (switch to Baselines for the kart's saved starting points). Tap New heat to start one From a baseline, with Clone last heat, or with Start blank. Karts get the full sheet — tires, chassis, axle and hubs, geometry, drivetrain, engine and weight; other types get a note field.
  • History lists past heats by day, with any older sheet under Before heats. Open a heat and the values that differ from the baseline or heat it started from are highlighted, with the change shown under each number.

Assigning sessions to heats

Open a driver's session, go to its Setup tab, and under Assign this session to a heat tap the heat it ran on — or tap New heat. Each session sits in one heat; one heat can hold several sessions. Unassign heat undoes it.

Closest past conditions

When today's weather is available where you are, the Setup tab can show a Closest past conditions card: the past heat on this kart whose sessions ran in the most similar air, how today compares, and the engine settings used then (plus chassis and gearing when it was the same circuit). Tap it to open that heat.

Who can see and edit

  • The owner, coaches, and mechanics can view and edit. If the owner limits mechanics to their assigned drivers, a mechanic only sees and edits those drivers' vehicles.
  • The connected driver can view their own vehicle's setup — from their Garage tab and their sessions — but can't edit it.
  • Today's heats, baselines and assigning are included with every Team. History, past heats and Closest past conditions need Team Pro for staff; a connected driver needs their own Pro.

Setup changes are saved on the phone and sync in the background. An archived vehicle's setup is read-only.

Tire checks and fitted sets

Use the session's Setup tab to log pressures, temperatures, wear tags, and photos under Tire check. Manage fitted tire sets on the vehicle's Tires tab. These follow the vehicle's tire permissions, separately from the Pro gates for past setup heats; see Manage tire sets for your vehicle.
