Share a lap as a link
Last updated Sep 25, 2026
Any lap can be shared as a link. Whoever you send it to sees the lap — the track map, the numbers — in their web browser. They don't need the app, and nobody needs an account.
Steps
- Open the session and go to the Laps tab. Tap the lap you're proud of (or the one you want an opinion on) to select it — if you don't pick one, your best lap is shared.
- Tap Share lap below the lap list (it names the lap, e.g. Share lap 7).
- Send the link with the share sheet — message, chat, email, anywhere.
What the link shows
- The lap time, lap number, track, vehicle, and date.
- Your display name and profile photo ("Shared by …"). A lap from a session tagged to a team shows the team's name and logo instead.
- How the lap compares with your all-time best at the track (once you have more than one session there), its sector times against the session's best sectors, top speed, and a coaching note when there is one.
- The session's conditions, when you have them — air temperature, the track state you tagged, and the air-density figure.
- A track map of the lap, coloured by speed.
Good to know
- Sharing is free for everyone, on every plan.
- The link points to your lap data. A short id in the link references your lap, stored securely on our server — there's still no account needed to create or open it. Anyone with the link can view it, and a link can't be deleted once it's made, so share it like you'd share the lap itself.
- Creating a link needs an internet connection. If it fails, you'll get a Retry option.
- The viewer's page works on any modern browser, phone or desktop.
Uses
- Settle the paddock argument with the actual delta.
- Send your coach a lap mid-weekend and get an answer before the next session.
- Post your PB where your rivals will see it.
