Adding a coach to your team

Coaches join your team using a one-time invite code that only the team owner can create and share — there's no email invite system to manage. Mechanics join the same way; see Adding a mechanic to your team.

Create and share a code

1. Open Settings → Staff. This screen is owner-only.
2. In the Invite staff card, under This code grants, choose Coach.
3. Tap Create an invite code.
4. The code appears once, in a sheet — tap Copy code or Share invite and send it on the spot.

If you lose it before sharing

The code is shown exactly once and can't be looked up again. It stays in the Invite staff card as an outstanding code, marked Coach with its expiry date, until it's used or expires after seven days. Tap Revoke on it so nobody else can use it, then create a fresh one.

How a coach redeems it

• New to LapperSnapper: at signup, choose Team, then Join a team as staff, and enter the code.
• Already signed in: open Settings, tap Join a Team, and enter it.

A coach needs a Team account — a Driver account can't redeem a staff code. After too many wrong tries, the app asks them to wait a few minutes before trying again.

Once redeemed, the coach shows up in the People card on your Staff screen with full coach access, and takes one of your staff seats. See Understanding your team's driver and staff limits for how many seats your plan includes.
