Corner coaching: find where you lose time

Last updated Sep 25, 2026

LapperSnapper doesn't just show you charts — it reads them for you. The coach detects every corner on the circuit, measures you through each one, and ranks them by how much time you're losing. You'll find it in the Race engineer card on a session's Overview tab.

What you get

Each coached corner comes with:

  • Time lost — how much that corner costs you per lap, so the ranking reflects payoff, not opinion.
  • The diagnosis — apex-speed deficit and how much time the corner cost, measured against the fastest lap through the same turn.

Insights about your strengths and consistency come with the session too.

How corners are numbered

Corners are labelled Marker 1, Marker 2 and so on — the same numbered dots you see on the Map tab. LapperSnapper creates these markers itself, so they may not match the circuit's official turn numbers. Across sessions in your track history the coach groups nearby corners into numbered track areas instead.

Free and Pro

  • Free: your single biggest time-loss corner is fully analyzed in every session — the corner most worth your next ten laps.
  • Pro: the complete ranked list of every corner, with apex deficits, plus cross-session callouts — when the same corner keeps appearing session after session, the coach tells you so and tracks whether it's improving.

How to use it

Ignore the leaderboard instinct of chasing your favourite corner. Drive the coach's #1 — the biggest number — for a stint, then check the next session's Overview to see the number shrink. That loop is the fastest way this app makes you faster.

For everything else on the card, see Race engineer: your per-session coaching summary.
