Creating Help Categories

Categories group related articles together. Visitors browse your help center by category.

Create a category

  1. Go to Categories in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Category
  3. Enter a name, optional description, and optional icon

Icons

Each category can have an icon displayed in the help center. Enter the icon name (e.g., "BookOpen", "CreditCard", "Shield") to use a Lucide icon.

Display order

Categories are shown in the order you set. Drag to reorder them in the dashboard.

Deleting categories

Deleting a category does not delete its articles. Articles in a deleted category become uncategorized.
